Hi All,

Has anybody had dealings with Igor at Freight Links out of Etobicoke.

I gave him a LTL shipment from NH to Calgary on Nov 8 and it was to deliver by Nov 14. Igos said it would be by the 13th. Great. Nov 14 and the truck was in "Regina" he said and would deliver on the 15th. Nov 15th, no delivery. Nov 16th and it was all about previous drop not unloading his truck and at about 2pm it was finally empty in Airdrie, 10 min away from calgary NE airport area. 2 hours later and still not there. Igor swears it was delivered. Customer check with everyone everywhere and no freight. Call Igor again and he is on it........call Igor about 25 more times and he does not answer. I can't wait to get out east and visit him. I think his cheque will be delivered by an 9 year old bike courier that is not allowed out of his nieghborhood in Langley BC.

Another carrier on the DNU list, beware:cool::mad::eek::p

I haven't dealt with this company directly but a contact I have with a large Canadian based trucking company has had issues with this dude under this company and with VMAX. One of these companies that accept your freight, don't deliver it when they should and are impossible to contact during. Also this contact has had at least two experiences with them holding the frieght for "ransom" demanding payment before delivery. Egor Romanyuk is the common denominator...I'd say based on this he definately is on the DNU list!!!!!

Igor is the son of the owner of VMAX. I booked a load with him and it took 2 hrs to get any info from him on the pick up. I should have ran screaming from him then but didn't...finally get info and send the driver to find out there is no load. This kid completely had his wires crossed and of course you can't reach him as they hide behind voice mail and an 888 line that acts as an answering service, when it is really a 1 kid show. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

we've been had! My employee didn't check before booking with them. Now Egor is claiming the freight is delivered - customer don't have it....
Says he will send over the pod...since yesterday and now, he's not answering his phone.
Worst thing is, he's not a member of Loadlink....tried to send over a complaint but....
I did send over a letter to their insurance broker explaining the situation and telling them the freight is worth over 200K ( for 7 skids ) we'll see that will do anything at all....
Wish me luck

Finally delivered after about 100 calls not answered!
Was delivered by Excel - pickup by an american carrier in Burlington, WA, cross dock in BC - pickup in BC by Vanfe ( don't know who they are ) Worst thing, we received the invoice with a fake pod BEFORE the actual delivery from his invoicing company!
Guess who got a call that the invoice will not be paid before the actuall delivery and sending a fake pod is not really legal and all....
Once again, they are NOT a member of Loadlink so....

I AM a member of Loadlink. Your freight couldn't clear the border in Surrey, BC for 4 days because the customer didnt have the right information on his invoices. Drivers spent all weekend at the border to have it cleared. There is your delay which I didn't get a penny for. It was MY truck who brought it from BC to ON. I did get an agent to deliver from Toronto to Montreal. I have got 95 calls from your company an hour from 4 different people, sorry can't answer them all. So I can't see this one being completely my fault as again the customs papers were wrong to begin with. Thanks for your input nonetheless. We strive to improve our service to better serve any customer and solve any problems that come with any freight.

Just curious........how do you explain the "fake" POD and invoice prior to delivery if everything was on the up-and-up? Also, a driver sat at the border for 4 days and not a peep from anyone? I would scream bloody murder if my driver was delayed that long at the border. Again, just curious - I have no other interest otherwise.

You explained one problem, what about the other ones? Seems to be that everyone who has used your services as had issues, I two have used you in the past and it took your company 13 days to deliver a shipment that should only take 5-6 max.

I just have to wonder...if the first phone call was answered and correct information given...probably the 99 other phone calls wouldn't have happened.

Sorry, the truck who delivered to my customer is EXCEL - got confirmation from both my customer AND the carrier. IT was not stuck at the border, it was cross docked in BC on Polar Express's dock and got confirmation for my contact there also. And NO, you are not a member of the link, even Loadlink themselves cannot find you! Come on man. Answer the phone the first time and give me the proper info, we will NOT call you 95 times. Shit happens, it's part of the business and everybody can make mistake and THAT, I can understand. Lies, NEVER.

So my mistake, you are now a member of the loadlink - were not back when this happened though but you are now, sorry!

Correction...your dad is a member of Link...you just feed off it under another company name.

Freightkings, what is the difference between the two companies?

I see the emergency number is the same one for both companies.

Freightkings did a cheap load from GTA to Edmonton AB for us, hopefully they paid the actual carrier...

p.s. they both have active accounts, search vmax & freight kings, both are there, last connection was today so they are active...
unless they have a 3rd company involved as well

VMax - MC680873
Freight Kings - MC807335

Fair enough, I can admit when I am wrong. He DID NOT have an account when I had my problems with him. The posting was under VMAX and they told me to call another # and so on.

if that is the case you should report the carriers that do that to Link asap and they'll be warned or removed pretty quickly.

I did report them. Loadlink never does ANYTHING about this. They are asking for 3 complaints (yeah right!!).

People like Freight Kings will keep coming in, we'll keep having problems and lose customers because of these kind of people.

We have nothing to protect ourselves!

Sorry, but he called me 2 minutes ago regarding payment...bastard! :P

For anyone on this Vmax is now closed and was double brokering loads before the closed. They actually did some good work for us for a bit. If anyone out there hauled loads for Vmax on the last couple months March, April or May from OHIO into Saskatchewan please email me or PVT me as those may have been my loads and I want to ensure you got paid.
