Currently getting the run around ..trying to collect invoices over 60 days.

Is anyone else having trouble ?

Cher,

There are other posts regarding FLS - one I posted myself not that long ago. I've always had issues with them - one thing or another...

Try Christina in A/P - cburr@flstransport.com - they only work with load numbers so include FLS loads in your email.

Good Luck

Fls

Thanks very much

Reply from Kyriakos Bilias on over due invoices

Will mail a cheque next week ..this will put the a/r at 90 days.

FLS is now on our DNU

They are all con artists. They give you an order then don't tell you it's an appointment delivery. You arrive and get stuck for several hours or even days and will not pay one cent. They promise the world and rip everybody off.

As I read about your rants & raves on FLS, thankfully at VA Transport we have few issues with them...on average 50k a month (with 50$ invoices...) & we deal with them for their LG business...They absolutely need a move (load) # to pay and when we don't have one I can call Illiyaz in BC and usually all works out. They pay us at approx 30 days, yes some invoices are not paid (sometimes batches at a time) but copies are sent & paid the following week. Lots of AP turnover in BC since Aug 2013 & makes you wonder. I don't wait for a cheque to be issued, they direct deposit every week (on Thursdays). For us Kyriakos (in Mtl) only issues payments but he has gotten the issues taken care for us when I got no where with the BC offices. This is a high maintenance account, which I monitor on a weekly basis, just to make sure things don't get too much out of hand.

good to see both sides to a story sometimes, so if you check call them weekly you get paid weekly, makes sense

now with the contacts you gave out maybe people can call them and get their issues taken care of

VA is getting paid because they do 50k a month with them if you only do spotty shipments they are slower than molasses and as other posts have said will tell you what ever they can to get you under a load. We gave them 3 chances to pay us in a timely fashion and all 3 times they lied through their teeth to get the load done. When it was payment time oh well you are on the list it may be 60 it may be 120 days.

I wonder if anyone has taken any sort of action to apply pressure or if they are simply waiting to get paid. I'm sure those people who are getting paid slower could be getting paid faster by contacting the people mentioned by creditva. Couldn't hurt to try.

If you are on their "preferred carrier" list - you get paid much quicker. If you are not...then you wait.

That's the short version of why they pay with such variance.

I was told the same thing about "preferred carrier", and my response was I prefer to get paid at 30 days, that is our terms. Alas... I waited 70 ...
