Frank was that quick pay? I have not worked with any of the FLS offices in 5 years as they where 100 days or better to get paid.

They also have offices in the U.S. They seem to work somewhat like independent agents and a little like Traffic Tech. Teams. So Each experience is a little different. They are somewhat arrogant, especially in the U.S. Their rates are as cheap as possible to the carrier because the less they spend the higher their pay.
They do pay in a timely fashion though depending on when the check runs are and when they receive your invoice. Anywhere between 30 and 45 days.

I think their involvement is misunderstood. Sounds to me like they're in acquisition mode and they've hired outside people to help do this. I'm pretty sure Mike McCarron is involved too.
I believe I started saying something a few months ago when everyone was commenting on their new contract that they are either going to be acquired or are going to start acquiring. Guess I was right.
We do some local work for them in Montreal. They pay within reasonable terms.
Years ago they acted as a carrier with a brokerage division, but I don't think they have any real assets on the road anymore. There was some tie to Keltic transport I believe at the time. I do recall checking their website many years ago and seeing all their US 'offices'...but just for fun, I called a few of the phone numbers and you always got the same switchboard. May have been a way to show they were larger then they actually were.
Their montreal location, the last I saw, was a commercial office building. No option for trucks there.

Did a short haul for FLS MONTREAL and sent pod Friday. They say they are paying Tuesday with a comccheque( after a discount) Will Update Tuesday. Looks like they are prompt payers when it comes to Paying quick after the discount.
