Anyone have any history with this broker?
Credit App says they have been in business for 3 years but incorporation shows as Oct 2007
 
We did do business with them back in april and I had to chase him down, and sent someone to pick up cheques twice in July. He did pay us but only after I hounded him every day. Lots of excuses, cheque not signed, got lost in the mail and so on.
 
pretty sure it was a house but he told me it was his accountant's house. I don't think he was being very honest with me. You just have to keep on top of it and don't let him mail a cheque, ours got lost twice. Spend the money and send fedex or go pick it up.

I know what you mean about not letting him mail a cheque.....I'm still waiting for payment for a May invoice.
They are definitely on our do not use list.
 
I just got off the phone and you were right.....I told him to put a stop payment on the cheque and I would have Fedex pick it up tomorrow.
He gave me his accountant's house address for pickup.
 
I wouldn't use them.....

He gave me the phone #905-366-4725 for his accountant and the address - 1023 Laidlaw Dr., Milton

I looked at his load confirmation sheet and that is showing as their fax #. If you google it, the number is registered to Utah at 30 Elm dr., Mississauga, On.

The contact # on their load confirmation - 905-876-0987 is registered to Utah at 1023 Laidlaw Dr, Milton,ON

Anyway, I called him back and told him all the above (he was a bit surprised) and my concern and he assured me that a cheque will be there tomorrow for Fedex to pickup.

I definitely wouldn't use this company again......way too many games being played.

His name - Uthay Thurairajah
Accountant's name - Shaun Thurai ......short for Thurairajah?
