FDA SHIPMENT ISSUE

Our driver is hauling an FDA Shipment Livingstons website shows FDA hold. But when the driver visited to CBP officer to booth, the officer said it's good to go. But the broker says they need FDA stamped Paperwork, The CPB office stamped the ACE with us customs stamped and had written FDA at the stamped

CBP does not stamp ACE manifests. Drivers are not given their ACE manifests back. If your driver has his ACE manifest, he was instructed to go to park and present himself to the desk. In this case, probably because the FDA hold. I'd bet there was a bunch of other scribbling like 0P and 0D.

He better have went into FDA or you will have more issues than you want to deal with. They may let you deliver and client ( receiver) will have to hold until hold is released as we had that happen once a number of years ago.

He also can only go into the FDA office during their business hours, otherwise he'll be waiting there until they open the following day. Happened to us before.

My guess is that he is across, into the US, down the road and making the delivery hoping to get a pickup done by the EOB today.

more than likely will be waiting for a while at consignee.

Consignee probably doesn't know, nor does he care - not his problem. Driver and likely the carrier just want it off so they can reload and get back home for the weekend.
Boy will they be in a surprise when the importer of record gets that fine. They don't take FDA compliancy lightly.
