A word of caution is warranted if you are considering using this outfits services. We had them on a load to pick up in the US this past Friday returning to Ontario. As the afternoon wore on, their estimated time of pick up grew later and later. We advised them that yes, the shipper could load after 5PM, provided a call was made and the shipper told exactly when the truck would show up. Not all that unreasonable when the shipper was trying to accommodate the carrier. The last message we received was on Friday at 7:56PM stating that the truck was still on route to pick up. Of course we find out this morning that no, the truck did not show up and no, there was no call made to the shipper, nor any message relayed to us. Could be a one of situation as we had not used them before. Of course, we will not be using them again. It has been said a million times before, but worth saying again....COMMUNICATION!!!

FYI, Fastlane Freight Systems has lost their FMCSA carrier authorities, and their broker authorities has a pending insurance cancellation mid March..
