FA International: How to Ghost Your Vendors Like a Pro

PART 2 – The Epic Saga: Trying to Get Paid by Metro Directly (Spoiler: Ghosts Still Win)

Once upon a time, there was Metro Richelieu, a giant in the food distribution kingdom, who hired a magical creature called FA International. FA International wasn’t just a broker—they were a ghost. Literally. Their superpower? Disappearing right when payment was due. Houdini would have been proud.

Enter our heroes—well, semi-heroes: Diego Lettari and Martine Papineau, representing Metro. They tried valiantly to get FA International to pay, but spoiler alert: the ghost didn’t respond. Calls? Ignored. Emails? Ghosted. Even carrier smoke signals went unanswered. Two weeks later, the ghost was still nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, yours truly, a humble, hardworking carrier, had delivered every single load—every asparagus spear, every pallet—honestly, punctually, and with a level of dedication that would make your grandma weep tears of pride.

Then came the kicker: Metro Richelieu said, “We paid FA International, so everything is fine.” And just like that, the victim (me) was told: “Don’t haul Metro loads anymore.” Wait… what? I’m being punished for someone else’s Houdini act? Genius. Pure genius.

So here I am, fuel bills unpaid, drivers waiting, and sanity slowly evaporating, while FA International performs the greatest disappearing act in freight history.

Diego and Martine did their best—they really did—but even the bravest Metro warriors can’t chase a ghost. Now I turn to the experienced people out there: what do you do when the broker who ghosted you owes hundreds of thousands, and the client (Metro) says, “We paid the ghost, not you”?

One recourse is to get a really good lawyer and take the matter to court. Include Metro Richeleau, FA International and the good ol Bill of Lading Act.

Make sure that your lawyer is interested in rattling the chains over there at Metro. I'm sure that the right person will get some movement or at least someone to put something on the table.

Did you haul the freight from the US? If the freight was not produce but finished goods you might be able to claim on their FMCSA bond but you better act quick. Their trust fund was cancelled Nov 9, 2025 so you don't have much time.

You need to lawyer up and go after everyone involved, Metro, F.A. International AND THEIR PARENT COMPANIES and go after the people that sent you the load and ghosted you personally or name them in your law suite.

I'm tired of hearing this same story week after week, day after day. Someone should start knocking some sense into these people and let them see their actions have consequences....

Ah yes, according to the highly reliable insider whispers, Metro’s very own representative and Adeel are running a tag-team scam like it’s the Olympics. Adeel apparently hauled in nearly a million dollars of business from Metro in just a few months—took the quick-pay money, sprinted off with it, and then magically “forgot” to pay the carriers.

But don’t worry, it wasn’t all selfish. No, no—Adeel allegedly shared the under-the-table profits with the legendary Diego, the man who disappears faster than a coupon at Metro’s checkout line.

I heard the same thing.

I think you have a lawsuit on your hands here

Hey world, gather ’round. Let me tell you a tale of professionalism gone missing—or maybe it was never there to begin with. Meet FA International, a company apparently specializing in “How to take your money and vanish 101.”

The cast of characters:
  • Adeel Aslam – Office: 866.640.7001 x7002
  • Robin Rai – Office: 437.781.5671 x7119 | Mobile: 647-877-5634
Address: 165 The Queensway, #305 Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada M8Y 1H8

The plot:
I booked two loads with these fine gentlemen. One from Calexico, CA to Etobicoke, and the other from BC to Montreal. Everything was in good faith, and I delivered on my part—because apparently, that’s still a thing in 2025.

The deal? Cash on delivery. Sounds simple, right? Wrong.

Stage 1: Excuses
  • “We’re tight on funds, just give us 10 more days.” Sure, okay. Everyone hits a cash flow hiccup. No biggie.

Stage 2: Vanishing act
  • 40 days later: poof. Both Adeel and Robin have blocked my cell, office number, and ignored emails. Incredible. I didn’t know the magic trick was part of logistics management now.

The damage:
  • About $4,500 USD gone… for now.

So, what’s next?
  • Contacting Metro directly is one idea.
  • Sharing this story and warning others seems like the socially responsible thing to do.

Lesson learned:
If FA International calls themselves “professional,” I guess that’s in the same sense a magician is professional when they make your money disappear.

So here’s a PSA for all my fellow vendors and carriers: don’t put faith in Robin Rai or Adeel Aslam unless you enjoy mystery payments and ghosting magic tricks.

Share this, tag your colleagues, and let’s make sure no one else falls into the FA International black hole of excuses.
same happen to us he is not paying 4500 usd invoice pending from jan 2025

I told him to lawyer up weeks ago, this guy is cutting and running on a load of people. I heard he owes one carrier almost 100k USD...... Adeel will probably be in Pakistan by new years.

I am curious what his response was when you told him that.
