Expedites to....

For the NJ: Polaris or Highlight Motor are both really solid carriers.

For the WI: Hewings, Contract Express, Polaris would top my list.

Not to offend any of the other carriers that run these lanes as there are many other quality operators that run both. These are just the first few that came to mind.

No offence taken Nawk but all the Carriers you have listed here are ltl specialists that run there trucks on steady lanes and do 1 trip a week to the areas stated and work on a 2 day service to fill out. That being said I dont think they would even consider doing a 2 skid ltl expidite to the stated places for Friday delievery unless they had a pile of ltl booked to come home before leaving. I could very well be wrong in this freight climate but in the past this was there business model.
 
Toronto area to NJ = 10.5 hrs (includes 1 hour for border)
Toronto area to Hartland,WI = 14 hours (includes 1 hour for border)

Both runs with Team drivers
 
As a follow up, I gave both of these LTL expedites to Aberstar. The only reason I am posting this is because I know they have had a bad rap on this forum and I wanted to post something good for a change.

After going through customs hell for 11.5 hours on Thursday with Livingston, the driver finally got on his way at about midnight. So much for my 7:00am delivery, but not Aberstars fault at all. The skids were delivered at 10:30am, very impressive considering all the delays we had.

The Wisconsin was scheduled for a 8:00am delivery Monday. At 7:45am the driver was 2 miles away, driving through an ice storm. The skids were delivered by 8:30am.

So to Aberstar, especially Joe and the driver who waited so patiently, I thank you and I will not hesitate to use you again and again.
 
Livingston !!

My experience with Livingston has been abysmal at best. This is as a driver, dispatcher, and freight broker. All negative experiences with their don't care attitude and inability to accept instruction.
If I have a customer who uses Livingston, I charge them a premium. I see no compelling reason for anyone to use a company who's executives seem to bite the hand that feeds them. They really do their customers a disservice when their customers have to pay waiting time because their staff seem to be incapable of even confirming a receipt of a legible document with any degree of truthfulness.
