Energy assets are confirmed for cross border work. I cannot confirm if the domestic usa trucks are actually owned by themDoes Energy Logistics have their own trucks or do they strictly double broker loads
thank youEnergy assets are confirmed for cross border work. I cannot confirm if the domestic usa trucks are actually owned by them
Thanks for informationBack solicitors. Gave them a few loads a few months back. 3 of the 4 customers have been called on by them since. If you don't mind them trying to steal your customers, they're okay to use.
seems as time goes on payment trends get worse
I'm unsure if anyone else has had one of their USA agents contact a shipper after using them, but I have a client advising me that they did. I have a very long relationship with this client, so everything is good on my side, but I am not sure about using them in the future.
I would not paint us all with the same brush; some like the high road. They tend to show their colours well in the downturns.................Pretty much the exact reason why you can't trust firms with a brokerage wing, may not be today but sometime down the line a new or bored sales rep is going to go through the TMS to pull names of all the shippers and receivers the asset side has serviced.

This really is the case.Pretty much the exact reason why you can't trust firms with a brokerage wing, may not be today but sometime down the line a new or bored sales rep is going to go through the TMS to pull names of all the shippers and receivers the asset side has serviced.
Perhaps in the example you provided, the freight broker found another carrier to service the lane after your one of experience. Maybe they found some added value, or a better rate, whatever. The shipper, if they have an on going relationship with the broker, would most likely call them and report your unsolicited approach. Back soliciting and double brokering are, in my opinion, examples of laziness, amongst other less innocent characteristics.. Carriers should find and develop their own customers and brokers should find and develop relationships with their own carriers. This really is the case.
And when is it acceptable, if ever? That's always been the tough question for me.
You doing business with the broker, its not acceptable period. Regardless of lane.
But if it’s like a 1 off, you did 1 load 12 months ago and nothing since. Maybe?
