The inquiry was headed by a Chief Justice of the Ontario Appeals Court, not a member of the government.
 
Well ya, that is the way the judicial system works here in Canada. Who would you have liked to see head up the inquiry? Someone with no judicial experience? Like most of us life long Maple Leaf fans, it is always best to blame the referees!

I'm good with an impartial jury that's not involved with the government or the trucking industry.
If it's good enough for a murder trial it's probably good enough for this.
