I called them on a laod from WA - AB (not something we do on the regular) got set up and they didn't like my price to move it. So we parted ways - the broker said they had landstar for $XYZ etc...
Anyway posted today and when I called they said they cannot work with me as my company does not meet their onboarding criteria ... honestly just tell me my price still doesn't work - do not lie
Just putting it out there

Emerge is one of the absolutely scummiest "digital brokerages" you can ever run into.

My buddy works as a Supply Chain manager for a large chemical company. They had an RFP coming up and were looking to get away from spreadsheets. They went to all the usual suspects to price it out. Emerge was new so they reached out and set up a meeting.

They offer their RFP platform to shippers for free in exchange for being allowed to bid. Ofc, since it is their platform they have access to everyone's rates and have an unfair advantage.

My buddy is a very smart guy and immediately called them out on it. They didn't even try to hide it, they just said "yep, we take the rates and will undercut if we are able too."

We tried do to some business with them on our asset side before we found this out but aside from absolutely garbage rates, they will hound your team with track and tracing questions if you do end up taking a load. Even though driver is tracking.

They are DNU'd now.
