Elite Expedited Transport

Call both the carriers insurance company and your insurance company and advise them that the load has gone missing, presumably stolen. You are going to need all the help you can get to resolve this mess.

After a long day we drove to napanee and met up with the driver and followed him to deliver. The 22 year old driver was crying and scared as the above mentioned owner RAMGEE SUNTHARAEASWARAN did not give the driver enough money to even have water, fuel, or food. He also cancelled his cell phone leaving him essentially stranded. We gave the driver 12K, which is what we owed elite and followed him all the way to delivery. Great driver. Would be happy to help any of you hire him if you are looking. Case closed, but please be weary of these scammers. I am told they are also the owners of Mak Freight and noble transportation. I thought I have seen it all in 15 years but again I am always surprised by this crazy industry.

How were you able to get in touch with the driver? I thought MAK Freight Lines is owned by Russian family.
I could be wrong.
 
Wow, what a crazy story. Getting in touch with the driver and meeting him etc. That is an amazing solution and follow up. Reminds me when Terra Nova went under and we had tons of freight at their agent VA Transport. I spent the day at their warehouse directing their staff what to load and when. LOL.

Well done FOX2016. By posting this information we can sure save others from future headaches.

FYI - I heard from a reliable source neither of these companies Elite or MAK operate out of Canex any longer. And RAMGEE SUNTHARAEASWARAN is the owner of both.

FYI- found out they are double brokering loads too, had 1 carrier call us for payment, we paid BVD and now they are sorting it out...

They are also signing POD's and submitting it for payment, we are double checking all loads now...

WHY WHY WHY play games like this!!

So a carrier who does the final mile for Elite has popped up for payment.... We held back 4 invoices and so we are paying them direct, good guy and he got stuck in the middle with all of this..

Elite is still MIA???

Then they told us they are just lost and to file a claim but my customer needed these for an install that has now been delayed so I asked them to keep looking and they have since blocked my office number and my cell number.

Not to mention they originally said they delivered last week and when I asked for PODs it was like pulling teeth which is when I knew something was up. I would avoid them

Update: Still unable to locate the skids, our phone numbers remain blocked. We cannot even get a response from their insurance. We are ready to file a police report

Just wanted to mention M.A.K. Freight SYSTEMS, cause the first time I saw MAK mentioned here I thought it was the same company but turned out its not
FIY MAK Freight SYSTEMS is a good company
its just for the future references if you will work with Freight SYSTEMS you should know they are good
 
MAK Freight Systems is a broker out of Concord, ON. They've been around for years.
MAK Freight Lines is a transport company located out of Mississauga, ON.

There is a thread relating to MAK Freight Lines regarding ownership and questionable operation of business.
