Hahaha ... I sure hope you didn't buy into that BS. Canadian ports of entry don't close for any reason other than a national emergency ... i.e. The Americans are attacking !!!!

Bad week to be on strike in the US they will not get any press or sympathy. We have not seen any disruptions except 1 carrier now all of a sudden using it as an excuse.

I have noticed the ripple effect from the anticipation of this whole thing. I have talked to many ppl Fri and today that are holding trucks in anticipation of what "might" happen and some holding part of their fleet in support. Either way...whether it be fear of the unknown or a sign of solidarity...it is still not helping the capacity crunch that we have been seeing. I sent my trucks out, we will see what tomorrow holds.
