I was thinking for a little if this is the right place to post this thread, perhaps it can be moved elsewhere if not.
Our fleet uses EFS WEX Fuel cards and it seems like our entire enterprise has been compromised a few weeks ago. We have noticed the transactions rather quickly 1 week after the occurance but according to EFS WEX it was not quick enough. We only review the transactions weekly during payroll, considering we are a small company.
Now EFS WEX is trying to pin the entire amount back on us, stating they have a 24-48 hours policy, etc. It is an ongoing issue but Im here to hear about your experiences, suggestions and recommendations.
Im curious if anyone has dealt with such incident in the past, specifically through EFS/WEX:
1. Was your entire enterprise compromised or just a few cards?
2. What procedure did you follow to report the incident and get your money back ?
3. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated ( keep in mind we already thought of preventions, looking for recommendations on how to proceed in this current situation)
4. If anyone experienced recent fraud with EFS WEX specifically - please DM me.
