We have been seeing more of that lately. Promise a pick up day or a certain delivery day knowing full well they won’t be able to comply. I assume it is the result of the lack of available loads so some carriers will promise anything just to secure the load for themselves. Not a good way to develop a beneficial business relationship. Whoever said “honesty is the best policy” was really on to something.
