Just got a call from a factoring company, we took 50.00 from a load because driver was 2 days late and customer wanted something, we sent the revised ect.... Now E-Comm calls and demands and says i have no legal right to do that even if its on our rate con.... True or false?

You have every right to deduct from an invoice if the service you contracted for was not provided. If you arrange with a painter to paint three rooms and he only paints two, why would you pay him for three? Ignore the factoring company, they aren’t taking you to court over 50 bucks. A load two days late and you only dinged them $50? They got off way too easy! You should always get what you are paying for….not less.
