DXL - Dominion Expedite Logistic - new address ***113 Fairhill Avenue - Brampton.

This company has moved from a business unit (formerly on Derry Road) to a residential address for current operations.

Anyone have monies outstanding and/or received payments from DXL from their new address?

Red flag here....

Any info would be great - thank you.
 
Received recent payment in under 30 days - large amount - no issues with cheque from new address as per my previous post.
 
I have also hauled quite a few loads for DXL in last couple years. They are one of the quicker paying companies. I will continue to haul for them in the future.
 
We waited a bit for ours. Invoice date - July 3, 2009.
Received payment Sept. 15, 2009.

This was from the new address.
 
Does anybody have any updated payment info for this company ?

We used them about a year ago for quite a number of loads. There was no problem with payment except that they paid through a factoring company - JD Factors I believe, which threw me off guard.

Unfortunately the loads we were doing dried up and we haven't used them in the past year.

Has anyone retained this companies services as a carrier?

I ask because they recently handled a shipment from us (LTL) from Mississauga to Ottawa area and I'm hoping it was not re-brokered.

I will note that I was quite happy with the communication and services received.:)

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

They recently (late Nov) moved a London to Ottawa for me.

Viewing the images in our system the paperwork is correct and the driver noted DXL and the truck number beside his/her signature.

As far as service... they picked up and delivered as requested.

I would use them again.
 
Invoice over 60 days with this company, waiting for a call back from the controller, who I'm told is Tamara.

Unfortunately I have not had such quick payment from this company.

We have called them looking for payment status since sending our invoice but Michelle hasn't been around to answer the phone and her voicemail specifically states not to leave a msg but instead to send email. So we sent two emails which were not responded to and left a voicemail. Still no response. Although Tamara said she would call me back in 10 minutes I had to call looking for her about an hour later. When I spoke to her she seemed more interested in having me prove that I had actually sent emails to Michelle than providing payment to me. She offered payment on her next cheque run but at this point I am not confident about being paid so I informed her we will have to go the collections route by contacting all parties on the shipment to notify of non-payment. Surprisingly she seemed to prefer that I go ahead with those calls rather than provide payment to me by Tuesday of next week which I had requested. By that time my invoice will be nearly 70 days. Not surprisingly, this made me feel even more paranoid that I may not get paid.
 
Well I got paid... But not without having to hound and threaten collection action and drive to their location myself to pickup the cheque at 68 days. DNU...
 
Any recent up date on DXL. I have an invoice that is from August 2013. I have one cheque left that I have to deposit from them and now there phones lines have been out since last Thursday. I am wondering if they finally closed.
