Dun & Bradstreet: How many of you have paid D&B to complete your file with them?

Recently someone from D&B is bugging me to pay them $700 so that they can complete our file with them. (he says D&B have some missing information)
He claims it will help us a lot once our file is completed. Just curious how many of you guys have paid them so that they have complete file of yours.
Also will this help us building our D&B score etc etc?

Your input will be highly appreciated....

I remember there was a thread about this topic a few months ago. Accountsreceivable@drc might know how to find it. She had given some input I think. I just can't find the link right now.

Something doesn't sound right about paying that much to update your file.

Contact David Hernandez at D&B - hernandezd@dnb.com (905) 812-5939. He is our account rep and pretty "to the point" about credit, reports, what D&B offers and what you DON'T need.

Hope this helps - let us know what you find out.
 
We received the same call a few months back - I basically advised that our information is private - and we had no interest in paying them $725.00 so that they could update their files - I havent heard back from them.
 
D & b

Last month they contacted me telling me there was someone checking us out, however, it was going to cost me to find out who it was. I asked this person if the party that was checking us out were also paying D & B for this information and he said yes. I told him "let them have at it" cause I wasn't paying him a dime. He hung up on me.
