Your comment about their attitude towards your mutual customer can apply to many of the payment agencies operating today. Instead of servicing their customer with prompt, reliable payments to suppliers, they seemed more interested in stretching out payments, returning invoices for the slightest of errors, i.e, one wrong digit in a zip code, etc. and timing the mailing of cheques so that weekends and stat holidays can further delay receipt. In my case, our customer stopped using them because they had to assign a person to handle the many complaints from suppliers, thereby negating any financial advantage to using DTA or similar agencies.
