Afternoon Members - wondered if you could help....

Driver Check - are they the only outfit for doing driver drug/alcohol testing? Are there any other options for getting a single driver done without having to go thru D.C. and opening an account? Any information would be appreciated. Thanking in advance.
 
DC is the way that small operators were able to be part of the US DOT drug/alcohol testing program. If you do not have enough drivers or don't want to manage all the requirements you paid for the services of DC to do this on your behalf. The program is convoluted and hard to manage as it is. I'm glad they do what they do.

I don't think there are any other cheaper options to get this done. Plus, if you ever have an incident that needs drug testing in the US (remember an accident with a charge or a tow-away is all you need) then you have one phone call to DC who takes care of it for you.
 
Thanks Jim for the reply. Only 1 driver - no U.S. involved. They make you create an account now and bill monthly - whether you use their services or not. It's a waste. Why pay a monthly fee when a "1 off payment" to another company when you require that testing service will do.
