Drink of the Day

Well, there is this store in ontario, that doesn't stock yankee products anymore, but they do have a vintages section... apparently all you need for a restock is a duffle bag and sunglasses according to the news media.
Yeah.. Don't get me started..

You think I'm joking, don't you? :)
Life is literally 30 or 40 years behind the hustle and bustle of the big cities in small cities. This is my stash currently. If you're a whisky drinker, I strongly suggest the bottle on the front left. If you like scotch, I'm out of stock right now but Highland Park all the way.
We usually only do Fridays around 4:00 if Bill goes home early, if he's here we all work to 4:30, then he tells me to open the bar and I happily oblige,

Keep well, keep hydrated!
Mike

Switching things up this Friday.. starting off with Redbull this morning.

Depending on how the day goes, it maybe a flat iron or a striploin for dinner, not sure how I want to reward myself on this wonderful friday!

I'll take my local beef over hard booze anyday...

I find it too rich for my taste. Have a buddy that raises it and the hamburg is awesome but find the steaks way too rich and can only eat maybe 1/2 of normal. Enjoy dinner.

I agree, its very rich in a few ways... include the price tag if buying retail, I'm fortunate to be in farming as well, and have some decent hookups :) Aint that much money in local cartage for waygu daily...

Typically each 1/2 of what I normally do as well. The hamburger is great, makes some killer burgers. or a rich bolognese meat sauce.

Hell ya, nothing like good grass fed beef. Happy Friday
I agree, especially when its from one of the few places in Ontario that owns a full waygu bloodline, obtained from Japan before they stopped exporting the full bloodline. I do enjoy a cheaper version of Waygu.... WANGUS, its a lot cheaper and the taste is amazing. kinda the best of both worlds.. Angus bred with a full blood Waygu.

Well they are hard to come by. Now that winter is approaching so is the smoked beef season. I have a buddy that works at cargill and he brings me some directly off the line. There's nothing like it.

We have the local packing house Norpac and they still do custom and that is where my buddy gets his done. Norpac beef is awesome as well usually Bruce or Oxford county raised on Norpac's own feed system. Yum Yum.
