Here we are again...

It's the end of the month (crunch time for many of our customers)...

I feel this website saved our company headache and some $$ this month (again). Let me assume for a minute it was $5000 worth of funds, time, and future business.

I'm going to offer 1% of that savings as donation this month (not company money either, out of pocket because it's my time I'm saving!!).

Note that I suspect that if goals are not reached regularly, this site 'could' be forced to go members only (and pay for membership).

Just my thought for the day...

Mike

Well put MikeJr.....

This "lack of donation" to the forum has been noted before in previous posts and was discussed at the last Meet & Greet night.

This forum is a collaborative effort - we have 1700+ members - nearly 500 are active on this site. Even with a nominal donation of $5/month - that would be a substantial dollar amount for ADMIN to keep this site rolling. When you think of the donation as a "Timmies Double Double" dollar equivalent - it is such a small amount out of pocket. Where can you get such a huge return on a small investment nowadays? I will tell you where....no where but here....

Senior members should ALL have a "SUPPORTER" banner across their name. For those that do not - shame on you. If you achieved this level on Inside Transport - don't forget that ADMIN granted this status. And with a new level comes a responsibility to provide positive, accurate and useful information for others. If you are on this site with Senior status - you are using the forum regularly. This is a very strong and powerful tool in this industry that many of us have come to rely on for everyday use. But it is also a volatile resource - one that could disappear at any time.

I ask all members to think back...to the days before you knew of this forum - before you had heard of Inside Transport - what it was all about and what message it was trying to convey in the transportation world. Now think of a day when you come to work - start your day off as any other - bring up your Inside Transport icon and the website is no longer there - blank page....

A very scary thought....

We do not have a pay pal account, I know it should be easy to get set up but I need to get a few people involved to do this. If I could mail a cheque somewhere I'd do it today!

you dont need a paypal account to make donations, just click on the link and use your credit card, click on the "don't have an account" link.

hope that helps

I agree also and that is why I decided to give up my Timmys for a few days. However I went to make the nominal donation of $5 but it will only let me make a minumum of $ 10 donation. Am I doing something wrong?

Searcher: the donate link at the top right corner allows you to make $5 donations
