Has anyone here used Dixon Commercial to collect overdue accounts with any success?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

waste of time and money

These people do nothing more than what you can do yourself. I tried them about 15 years ago. All they do is sell you tickets up front and then a percentage of what they can collect, with no results. You'd be better to find someone with a baseball bat and can make cement shoes. Far better results if you can hire someone internally and pay them on % collected, that way you build a repore with the collectee.
Lots of luck on this one.

We gave dixon a try a few years back , with no sucess at all. From what I recall, they had a decent sales pitch, but they kept wanting to charge fees to "take it to the next level" . Like bubba said get on kijijji and find someone local to deal with it.

They call it "preferred rate" they charge to collect the invoice.

Meaning, they keep 50% or more or whatever they choose. If the client is in U.S. you will get 10% of the claim.

They also deduct 13% HST.

There are many other good choices for collecting overdue accounts.

Dixon is not a good choice, stay away.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I will stay away from them, as they want me to give them $525, to become their member, before they even collect a dime for me.

I have had no luck with Dixon also. Its a waste of time and money. Try out Credimax, I have had pretty good success with them. Call Pierre Decary at 905 257 0490 or Darryl at 800 579 0220.
