We are a busy company located in Pickering Ontario looking for someone with experience in 3rd Party, US Inbound/Outbound and Local. The right candidate needs verifiable experience in 1 of the 3 previous mentioned jobs. We do have the ability for people to work from home but would definitely be determined by experience and ability to work in a large integrated TMS system. RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:
RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:
- Plan inbound/outbound/local/brokered loads for key customer accounts.
- Allocate drivers and equipment efficiently to meet customer requirements, maximizing lane profitability and equipment use through planning, sourcing of acceptable loads and minimization of empty miles.
- Develop and implement appropriate plans for achieving cost efficiency, quality improvements, improved responsiveness and department objectives.
- Manage and resolve escalated issues.
- On call as required.
- Work with other Dispatchers to coordinate shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a proactive approach.
- Follow all internal processes and consistently and accurately update TMS.
- Promote and support all company policies and initiatives to ensure the safety of our employees, customers, property, the environment and the public.
