Sorry if I wasn't clear in what I was asking. I was not referring to your name or company name being indicated. You removed someones post that had a weblink as it was considered to be promotional or an ad. I was only asking if this was not the same as in your signature.
I think we are all aware that we can indicate our company name and real names if desired but thanks for reminding me of that. Some companies may not approve of this as the person could be considered to be speaking on behalf of the company and could be frowned upon.
Just because you take exception to my posting does not mean it is not valid. I think it is rather rude to suggest my opinion does not matter when it refered to a point you stated in a previous post.
The question I asked that was never answered is what is the difference between the posting with a link to a website and your signature. In fact other posters have been told that if you want to promote their company they should buy ad space. It was a serious question that was not intended to put you on the defense nor would I expect that someone that is a moderator suggest my questions/opinions are not valid.
