Diesel fuel theft

This is to let everyone know that one of our trucks had it's fuel tank broken into overnight on Friday, June 3/11 night at the Lloydminster, AB Husky truckstop and approximately 200 gallons of fuel stolen.

Please advise your drivers to be very vigilant as this is going to happen a lot more with fuel prices being so high.

Now for my rant...

To all the carriers on here blaming everyone else for them not making money, it really pisses me off that they have to stoop so low as to steal fuel from another fellow carrier. I'm not accusing anyone on here but come on people, if you can't afford to buy your own fuel, get out of the business and leave honest truckers alone.

To whoever did this or would steal anything from anyone... You're a piece of S**T...

This is already happening alot in the U.S. And their fuel (in most states) is not as high as ours. If fuel keeps increasing here - more gas stations will adopt the "pay before you pump" process which is completely annoying. Gas is being stolen all over the GTA at the pumps - it is just a matter of time before they are all closed off and "pay inside" - while getting a slushie - is no longer an option....

Economics 101 - certainly not "clear" nor a reliable problem solver in the rising fuel crisis - with consequences for all....
