Is anyone else having issues collecting from:

Deltaura Canada
1150 Eglinton Ave East, Unit 30
Mississauga, ON L4W 2M6

I'm getting nothing but excuses and run around when I call. The accounting extension goes to someone's house in Hamilton who claims to have never heard of them and that she has received at least 25 calls looking for money in the past two days.

Any insight or info would be appreciated.
 
I used them as a carrier back in January.

Oh and just in case anyone is wondering, service wasn't all that good.
A lot of running around, bad communication.
 
Update- cheque has been picked up. Will let you know if there are problems clearing it.

I received the same letter from ECapital. See below more of the content of the letter;

Date: January 14, 2025

NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE

By eCapital against Deltaura Canada Inc.​



This letter serves as notice of foreclosure by eCapital Freight Factoring, Inc. (“eCapital”) upon accounts and property of Deltaura Canada Inc. Pursuant to §9-607 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”), this letter also serves as legal demand for Company Name to deliver payment of all amounts otherwise due to Deltaura Canada Inc. to, and only to, eCapital.



eCapital is the assignee and secured creditor of Deltaura Canada Inc. and is hereby enforcing its right to foreclose upon property under a commercial security agreement and UCC §§ 9-406 and 9-607. eCapital has perfected its security interest in property of Deltaura Canada Inc. by filing a UCC-1 financing statement in accordance with state law (a copy of eCapital’s lien is attached hereto).



Notwithstanding any communication you may have received from any party to the contrary, eCapital has not terminated its rights as a secured creditor or assignee of Deltaura Canada Inc.

UCC §§ 9-406 and 9-607 are US laws and as such may or may not pertain to Canadians. I would obtain the help of a lawyer if you owe Deltaura Canada any funds to see what ramifications, if any, can be made upon you should this progress into a Canadian court for insolvency.
