They do a lot of work for us (from a broker standpoint) but things have slowed down over the past couple months. Never had an issue with them before service wise, but was recently made aware of them being on credit hold with a carrier they used for a portion of one of load of ours. It was rectified right away by DBG though and their factoring company was notified as well.

were you aware of this prior to booking the shipment with DBG trucking? as in they told you they were going to get another carrier to pick up or deliver the shipment that you booked with DBG?
Not until we were contacted a month or so later by the other party.

We also received this notification and we trust the source. There is no explanation of what happened but where there's smoke, there's probably gonna be fire. We will err on the side of caution...

Didn't something similar happen with MTS? We were told that there were two owners and one was unaware of the status of the company until it was too late ie. filed for bankruptcy, which is when the unaware owner created DBG.
So it went Ramel - MTS - DBG & now DBG Group Int'l? Is that correct?
you'll know it's them by the "is the freight skidded" email from 5 reps on the same piece on every posting going inter Canada.

Double broker or sell the US leg of the ltl they book and do not have trucks in the US? There is a couple ltl guys that do that. DBG Galaxy East West all come to mind for that game.
