I moved 1 load with this carrier and now finding out they have no money and are closing their doors. They also double brokered the load I did and now trying to get away from paying. If you have moved loads with them get on the accounting now so you still have a chance to get paid.
 
For the record Daytona has not closed their doors and aren't planning to close their doors. You can call them at 905 457 6000 and they will gladly answer their phones.
 
We offered this carrier a shipment Sept 2013 and found there was a service failure. Based on the positive comments from multiple members, I'm reactivating them and we are booking a shipment for pickup tomorrow.

I'll mention their safer rating has shown dramatic improvement.

I'll update if there is an issue but we're dealing with a new contact (sometimes who you deal with makes a difference).

We used them quite often last year, they where OK, just had to stay on top of them but no service failures that we can recall.
 
We took a chance and booked a FTL and is was fine- track and trace was trash for updates but it went off perfectly...
 
4 shipments went well. A fifth load they had a breakdown before picking up and advised in ample time. Decent carrier so far
