Has anyone dealt with this company? (from Nova Scotia)
They have a great rating on Loadlink but I'm having a hard time getting paid.

The one girl I dealt with is not longer there and the Finance person on their website hasn't been there for years...

At this point, I'm faxing and leaving messages with the president and have still not had a reply.

I am getting word around the campfire that there was a letter sent out a few months ago stating that mills and davis were amalgamating to better serve they're customers...it looks like that was a smoke screen as mills bought some of they're equipment and nothing else..I think they will be going under from what my sources tell me
 
You're definitely right about Mills Heavy Haulage just buying the equipment.

When I called Davis Specialized Carriers and talked to Don Murphy (who is now employed by Mills) in Dispatch, he gave me Tom Boudreau (president) cell # and email address.
Tom of course, said that he still has the phone but no longer works for the company.

Don also confirmed that only equipment was purchased and not the receivables or payables so this is not looking good for us. I'm trying to get a personal address or phone # for Tom Boudreau but so far no luck.

Hi

Tried the link but it comes up with an error message.

I talked to the Company that ordered the load and they paid Davis Specialized Carrier (cheque was cashed Dec. 1).....
They also mentioned that they have another load booked with them for tomorrow and are going to followup closely with that one now that they know their load is being brokered out to other companies.

I told him that they will most likely do the same thing to another company that they did to us. Especially since they sold all their equipment.
The only good thing to come out of it was the Company will call to use us direct in the future.
