is anyone subscribed to the link package to get USA leads? does it work? have you hired any US carriers to haul your loads?

feed back?

I ask this cause when we used DAT package it never worked seeing if anything changed.

We are a broker and have DAT on Link.... I am not sure if I can say it works though. I know that on occasion we hook up with American carriers but rarely do we ever actually see them. Seems more like they can see us but we can't see them. I'm not the owner of our company but I don't personally see the value in DAT if it only helps me cover 1 or 2 loads a year.

We use DAT and don't really get much out of it either. A few loads maybe every couple of months. You got me thinking to look into what extra's I am spending on this to see if it is even worth it.

We subscribed to it for 60 days. No value to us at all, and we cancelled the USA leads portion on Link.

We cancelled Link altogether. For the few times a year we would need to get loads off Link it turns out it was cheaper to bounce them home than it was to pay the subscription ... and we only had the cheapest subscription.

As a Cdn Representative of a US based Company, I have access to the US DAT which includes the Cdn Link / This version is more complete and provides data on both US and Cdn Carriers. As I do loads on both side of the border, then this system is the ideal tool to work with / Unfortunately it is not available to Cdn Companies.

I have worked with both systems and can honestly say there is a major difference between the two

It seems there are different versions of the Cdn Link available for Cdn Carriers & Freight Brokers but they are not as complete as the US version, hence the issues described on this thread.

Will the Cdn Industry ever get this version ?????? That's a million dollar question !!!!!!!!!
