***Although someone in the office didnt do a better check on these folks, and that is our responsibility, I just wanted to share:

Carrier agreed to everything set out on the carrier confirmation.
Carrier picked up goods Tuesday.
Carrier arrived at receiver Wednesday.
Carrier, Rafael, calls our person at the office and says, hey we will open the doors and deliver your order as long as you come and deliver a check to us now! If you dont deliver the check then we will hold your load ransom.
OMG, yes we failed to properly research this carrier first, but come on....very unreasonable carrier. Just be ware if you ever use them.
 
just used them twice, no issues, he is rafael from et transport, started his own thing.

so far, no problems for us, 2 for 2 loaded, delivering tomorrow or soon, we'll see.
 
Never seen their stuff before, but if he takes after E T, then there's probably pieces of their equipment all over your customer's shipping docks. It's like they take what Sheldon rejects. Seriously.
 
thank you that's the feeling he gave me and after reading comments here I was getting even more nervous. I will cancel him. If anyone needs LTL in Wisconsin give me a call 514-265-3379
 
Anything current on this carrier with respect to service? Comments aren't great below but just doing some checking to see if anyone on the board uses them?
 
Hey Abe,

We've not hooked up with Dari for a while but never had the issues that are described below by other posters, last load was April 2013 and all went great.
