Well lets set the record straight here. We've done two loads for Dansway. March 10th for $600 and April 16th for $550 and haven't been paid yet.
We can not speak to anyone at Dansway I suspect they know what we are after and they do not return our phone calls. If we fax something over they just fax this letter wanting to trade service for payment. Yet apparently they are running trucks up and down the highway and they can't afford to pay their 6 month old $1150 bill ?
Dan Pope if you care to call me personally and clear this matter up please feel free to do so.

Interesting indeed, trade service for payment(ha haha)... Please let us all know how you make out getting paid. I hope that you actually get this resolved.

IMO after 5 months they have no intention of paying you. You need to go after their customer for the load and make a lot of noise with the shippers, receivers, anybody whose name is on any of the load paperwork. There are many sympathetic and honest people out there who may help you to put pressure on these people. Try the customer first. And file a small claims suit, this will show on their credit report and others will take notice.
After this long, you need to abandon the usual collection methods and sail straight to PISSEMOFF City!!

We did a load for them back in June... $600... we FINALLY got paid 2 weeks ago... kinda.
We got three post-dated cheques in the amount of $200 a piece. Thank God, they haven't bounced yet. Middle men like this make trucking so much easier.

Well Dansway still does not pay their bills. We have an invoice from June/09 with them and still have not received the promised installments and don't think we ever will.
Its nice to know that people are still willing to screw others.

Still no payment for our November 08 invoice. Repeated phone calls and letters aren't answered, and phone messages still not returned. Nothing,then, has changed, except that Dansway has some much nicer looking trailers than they had two years ago. Is this what is called modern day debt restructuring?
I notice no comments from Dansway on this site for nearly two years so they must not be concerned with what their reputation is becoming. Has any of their direct competitors thought to send a link to this site to their customers? Just wondering.
