Anyone work with D Xpress (2381542 Ontario Inc.)?

Based out of Etobicoke, ON

MC # 82894
 
Gave a Flatbed load to D-express from QC-NC. The truck showed up to both pickup and delivery was North Edge transport, when confronted the dispatch manager Sid told us that D-Express has bought North Edge transport and its actually the same company.
Like why didn’t you tell me before booking. Be careful using both companies

An updated corporate profile report from both companies would clear that up quite quickly.
Either way, just tell Sid to send over the banking information for North Edge. If they are in fact the same company they'd have no problems receiving payment to that company for the work that they did. Remember, when push comes to shove and something goes to court, the corporate profile report is what they will utilize to prove the companies. If six months goes by and North Edge calls you or your customer for payment you can be sure they'll have the documentation to prove they did the load and are entitled to payment regardless of what 'Sid' said.

Yes, i told him that i will not pay D-Express, have North Edge send me an invoice which they did. But i will ask for banking details as well. Great advise, thanks
