Update:
We took a load from D Express and found out that the load was double brokered. The original broker reached out to us shortly after we were loaded to identify how we got the load. After delivering the load and proving we have the original shippers BOL plus our GPS updates showing the delivery they agreed to pay us directly.
Thanks to the original broker for taking the time to track us down and confirm with us.
D Express is on our DNU list now.

I don't think that posting the original broker would be prudent at this time. They are a well known established broker who did the right thing and we were already setup with them so that helped.
The point is that D Express double brokered a shipment that they were not supposed to double broker and the original broker was not made aware of it. The result worked out for us, but others should watch out if they take shipments from D Express.
