Customer Service Position Available

Starship is celebrating 25 successful years in business arranging over the road transportation for our customers.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, outgoing and highly motivated bilingual (English/French) person to join our team. The duties of this individual would include: order entry, tracing orders with carrier partners, assisting where required with communication in French and working with a dynamic and highly motivated team.

Required education:
Completion of Secondary School

Required skills and experience:
Strong communication skills in both English and French.
1-2 years experience in the trucking industry preferable however not required.
Possibility of in house training;
Computer and technologically literate, able to work with Excel, Word, Outlook, etc...;
Superior people skills;
Maintain and build relationships with current and future customers and suppliers;
Build relationships internally with account managers, operations and administration;
Attention to detail when entering shipments;
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time;
Strong geographical knowledge of the United States and Canada;

Salary and benefits are paid based upon experience with a potential for bonus.

Less than a year later and we need to grow our team again.
I've been speaking to several members about a Dispatch Position, keep tuned in 3-6 months for that (2 positions if Jenn chooses to stay home after her Parental/Maternity Leave expires).

For now:

Starship Logistics Inc. is a third party transportation logistics operation boasting over 26 years of successful business. Starship Logistics Inc. is headquartered in Georgetown, Ontario.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, outgoing and highly motivated Customer Service oriented individual to join our team. The duties of this individual would include: order entry, tracing orders with existing customers and carrier partners, assisting where required with retrieving and forwarding critical information to carriers in order to assist them as much as possible. Strong communication skills (phone, with team, via email, etc...) and ability to work with a dynamic and highly motivated team.
