CTL/Corona

Some other identifying information would be nice. What is their address, email, website, USDOT/MC, CVOR....? Give us something to work with.

Here's what I found, it appears they run their office from 124 Shaver Avenue North, Etobicoke and 143 Dollery Court, Toronto. I found this article about them, certainly won’t be giving them any of my freight.

I used them twice, on one they were late 1 day, on one they were late 2. Despite the fact their incorp docs seem legitimate and that they are over 10 years old, I think they started doing business again last year. Beware.

Honestly, some of these comments are wild. LOL

Delays happen in trucking. Anyone who’s actually worked in this industry knows that weather, breakdowns, traffic, border issues, loading delays, and a hundred other things can affect a shipment. That’s not “scamming” that’s called real life on the road.

And @B-Rad… posting a company’s private information online? You might want to think twice about that, because there are actual legal consequences for doing things like that.

As for all this “beware” nonsense… I’ve personally used Corona Transport Ltd multiple times, and my experience has been the exact opposite of what’s being pushed here professional, transparent, responsive, and they get the job done.

And the comments about “different company names”… seriously? CTL literally stands for Corona Transport Ltd. It’s called an abbreviation. Not exactly a conspiracy.

What’s really disappointing is watching people try to destroy a company’s reputation with zero facts, zero proof, and a lot of gossip. I know plenty of companies that have worked with them, and I’ve heard nothing but solid feedback.

And as for former drivers suddenly becoming “experts” online… funny how stories change when people have personal issues.

The tobacco situation? That was dealt with a long time ago. A shipper loaded freight that didn’t match the paperwork, authorities investigated it, fines were paid, the matter was resolved, and business moved forward.

Maybe before trying to publicly shame a company, people should bring facts, receipts, and actual evidence not rumors, assumptions, and comment-section drama.

Anyone have experience with CTL/Corona? They have been reaching out but can't seem to find much on them, want to make sure their service is good.
What would you like to know about CTL Group/Corona Transport Ltd ? In business since 2013 had a fleet of 33 units dawn sized at the moment 7 HWY 4 city 20 trailers anything else please call the office 416-613-1022

All I did was put your company documents, which are public record. Wasn't making any negative comments about your company at all. There are no legal consequences for providing public information, why are you so upset? You say in one of your comments you seem to suggest that you have used Corona as a carrier, but then in your next message it seems like you might be Corona? Can you tell me if you are Corona or not? Given your attitude I'm going to look into this a little more, threatening people with litigation for things that are public record is stupidity.

Yes, the incident did happen. Unfortunately, in situations like this, nobody seems to care about the carrier’s side of the story.

No trucking company is opening and inspecting every sealed box or pallet loaded into a trailer after a shipper loads the freight. Carriers rely on the shipping documents and the information provided by the shipper, which is standard practice throughout the transportation industry.

It was an unfortunate situation for us, and we took responsibility for our part by dealing with the matter, paying the fines, and moving forward with our business. At the end of the day, we were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

People online often jump to conclusions without understanding how trucking and freight operations actually work. Mistakes, misdeclared freight, and shipper issues can happen in this industry, and it does not automatically make a carrier a criminal organization.

We have continued operating, servicing customers, and building our business professionally despite the negativity and rumors being spread online.

I’m a little confused — “beware” of what exactly?

If our company supposedly did work for you, then what is your company name and what shipment are you referring to?

It’s easy for people to make anonymous accusations online without providing any actual facts, references, load numbers, invoices, or proof. If there was legitimately an issue, then provide the details so it can be addressed professionally.

Throwing vague allegations around without context helps nobody and only damages the industry further.

Why is it that so many of the long term members of this site, companies who have been operating for many, many years, never seem to get caught up in or accused of this type of B.S? The answer is simple, they follow the rules, operate ethically and honestly and refuse to climb down into the gutter just to make an extra dollar. These newer outfits should really take a page out of the successful companies handbook. It isn’t really all that difficult.

we are corona
When I look up corporations through Corporations Canada, they do not publicly provide owners’ names the way people are implying online.

You already have copies of our corporation documents, so it’s not that we are hiding anything. What is concerning is strangers hiding behind aliases and fake profiles while spreading private information and accusations online.

That is honestly a little disturbing. If someone has a legitimate concern, then address it professionally and openly instead of anonymously attacking people and businesses on the internet.

There are real people, drivers, employees, and families behind these companies. how did you obtain our corp docs?
