Cross Miles Carrier Inc

He careful with the OH companies, we had a lot of issues with Redline, South Florida brokers, Alaska Carriers etc all being associated and all claiming to be from OH. I may be a little biased now but I DNU the whole dang state. And their COI is from a company in BC.

They tried to onboard with us.
But with only 10 months in business and a whole lot of red flags they were denied.
Perhaps I've saved myself some grief down the road.

Has anyone used them? Loooking at crossborder CAN - USA. I find it odd that a small USA based carrier is willing to accept CAD payment (upfront)?

Update:
Preston is an absolute scam.
We set up Cross Miles Carrier as they had already picked up our load and in conversation with them, found out that they are now on the losing end of 5 loads they did with Preston.
Also, we have changed the way we assign loads to carriers now and have EVERY shipper take pictures of every truck and trailer we send in. If it has a different name on the door, they get a phone call from us and get set up to make sure there are no "surprises" after the fact.
I recommend every broker speak to their clients and shippers to implement this policy. I could save you a lot of headaches...

We ended up not using them, but to clarify, is Cross Miles Carrier the ones to worry about or is it Preston Delivery?

Preston Delivery, 9677 Tollgate Rd SW. Definitely fraudulent. They sent me their carrier package and their CTPAT. Very subtle but the font looked a bit different on their carrier name on this letter. I sent it to my CTPAT contact and it is definitely fraudulent. He confirmed they haven't used this type of letter in years. Stay away!

Go into your CTPAT portal and search the carrier. That'll tell you right away.
They are not listed under Preston - maybe a legal name? You should be adding them to your CTPAT portal for each carrier.

I did go to our portal its always the first thing I do. I just didnt type out the whole procedure of my carrier check...lol
Our CTPAT agent has confirmed that they fraudulently altered the document. They were happy with my catch, called Preston Delivery themselves and have now been flagged in their system. Definitely a fraud of a company.
