Coronavirus

in a crisis..i need that Kruger account... if they pay me good that is.

From the CBC
"All travellers arriving in Canada from international points are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days as a precaution. People arriving from Hubei, China, Iran and Italy already have been asked to self-isolate. "

No more Canada-US Commerce? Trucks need to stop crossing the border?
Is the United States an International point?

It would appear, at this point, that the border closure would only apply to inbound airline traffic and cruise ships. It perhaps may expand to include overland visitors travelling back and forth across the US/Canadian border however, closing the border to commercial traffic would certainly have to be regarded as an action of "last resort". The resulting economic devastation would have to be carefully weighed against the potential number of lives saved. If and when such a drastic action is required, we can only hope it would be temporary.

Driver feels it is unsafe for him to work, he has 2 young children. uh, uh, uh, ok wow how do you answer this one. I am sure not the last one to say this but "silly" is coming out now. Answer - we as a company have provided safe guards to assist in protecting you, you can take a leave but it would be a unpaid leave. Good luck

"safe guards to assist in protecting you" like?
If he does have small children and he was that worried about it - he would take the unpaid leave either way. Broker looks at labour as a commodity=bad, Carrier = good?
