There's usually a discrepency between the loads as described and what actually happens. Let's just say they know more about their freight than they tell the carrier that they omit to cover the load.

Much to common in the business. Telling a carrier whatever it takes to get the truck and then surprise.

Watch-out.

Uhhh should start paying more when the load sheet says 20k and the load is 21k.

Don’t short pay, but bill the shipper for the eight skids anyway… if I book a truckload and the shipper had only one skid, the carrier still gets paid for the truckload.
