This has been an issue of contention suddenly on social media and WhatsApp groups - MPI elected a new CEO in Feb 2024 ... so just because of her background this has now become an issue? The Class 1 test in punjabi was alreday being administered .... are any other provinces providing this language accomodation?

Part I do not understand is okay test is in their first language all fine and dandy but road signs cops MTO DOT etc are not. Shippers nope receivers nope truckstops well maybe but if you cannot read and write english how to they get by? US regs if not mistaken say read and write English to a certain level is a requirement. Outright favortisim or scared of being called out with the race card? We need to stop with the pandering of one group of immigrants they are no better or worse than the rest of us why all the special treatment?

Agreed - need to be able to read/understand ... any other province have this accomodation? Interesting part is that it is only for Class1 (commercial) not for any other lic
