And it begins

Well, if it (the electrification of the transportation industry) is going to begin, it is the short haul, urban delivery sector of the industry that is best suited for it. Not too many miles/hours and home every night for a plug in re-charge. Plus the added benefit of no more diesel fumes spewing out as the garbage truck inches down each and every suburban street.

Well, they better have some kind of a noise creator. Right now I can hear him coming from the block away and ready to pull my bins back right away..

I never thought of that! You’re right, an electric truck would be very quiet indeed. Hmmmm, maybe they’ll have to install a bell for the driver to ring as he drives down your street.I know they do that in Mexico so no one has to leave stinky garbage out in the heat for the vermin to tear apart.
