I wont even take their calls, use to be 1 guy that worked for Landstar but he was the owner/op ever since he retired they don't even make it past the front door here as a carrier.

True, but the $300 you'd pay for layover and potentially get something out of there on Monday is a better bet than running for that low and come across breakdowns etc. Its sucks whichever way you look at it, but what "sucks" less is what i'd go for.
