We recently booked a lod with Chase. They were happy to oblige on the rate. Later in the day they called in regards to load saying that when the load was booked it was booked as less footage. When confronted about the booking they said that the freight was loaded and that they wanted more money in order to unload. We called the shipper on the other line to see if Chase had already left, but they were in the dock waiting for paperwork. We had the shipper unload the freight, as they were complaining that thee driver was rude and was trying to throw all his garbage on their dock and was attempting to force them to take his scrap skids. Upon unloading Chase, Chase called us to say they were charging us for empty miles, after they tried to hold our freight for more money. On Friday we were faxed an invoice for a truck not used, due to freight overage. When I called and spoke to Andy, who was the dispatcher the load was booked with and the same guy who tried to hold our customers freight for more money, he claimed that this didn't happen and that the other dispatcher here was lying about what was said on the phone. When he was confronted about his conversation being on speaker phone he said his boss would call to resolve the issue. Be very careful using these guys.
