Save yourself a lot of stress and avoid Brampton companies. The bottom line is you're likely not to get paid as many have found out the hard way including myself.

I usually agree with you Montreal Trucker. And, I understand from anecdotes on this site, and from some of the carriers we do business with, that indeed - Brampton does seem to have more than it's fair share of Brokers with questionable business practices, and ethics.
But ...... please,please, don't tar us all with the same brush. We have, over the last 12 years, been uncompromising in doing our best to ensure that the carriers who work with us, do so profitably. I have written in other threads here about our realization that without competent carriers who are glad to work with us - we would have nothing! This includes ensuring that the carriers get paid for all reasonable ancillary charges, within terms.
Thank heavens for this site, as it helps us steer clear of equally bad carriers, and shippers. In essence - there's no short cut to due diligence.

I posted an inter-US load earlier today and was contacted by a Chahal Trucking based out of Pennsylvania. Found it odd that there is one based out of Brampton this afternoon ??

We set the Brampton company up this May and they have done 4 moves for us with no problems no late pick ups or deliveries.

just to clear the air on service issues for Chahal. They did an excellent job and will be using them again. I hope that if a search is done under their name they receive the kudos they deserve and not all the payment problem postings since they are in Brampton!
