In the last week or so, some site members have been admonished by some moderators for being aggressive in their thoughts (please see thoughts on co brokering, etc.).
I'm going out on a limb and in my humble opinion offer that this may akin to a form of censorship. These members had posted under "Anything & Everything" as well as under the sub category of "Moan & Groan" so, what's the problem? It was posted in the proper category, correct? Were they not talking about "Anything & Everything"?
I do understand that some members carry it a little too far for my liking but if I don't want to read it, then it becomes my choice. It shouldn't be administration of the site to denounce what is said as long as it is in the proper category and context.
The next thing people on this site will be demanding is that the woman's beach volley ball team will have to adhere to the Muslim dress code. I watch so little sports as it is and it's refreshing to see young, well conditioned female athletes stretching and driving to win a point (he grins bigtime) I hope I'm not censored for that thought...
Censorship has never, ever done anything good for anyone (remember book burnings?) and I hope that Inside Transport will not subscribe to this way of thinking....
