They where usually bigger and on the gas pedal side for floor starters though, That is for sure a highbeam switch. Happy belated.

You're not fooling any of us with this high beam switch crap. We know you use to be a secret agent and that little floor button was for the ejector seat on the passenger side.

Nobody has mentioned no-draft windows yet! They have been gone since the 80’s, the victim of less expensive and more available A/C and the push for fuel economy. They were notorious “whistlers” when closed at highway speeds.

This thread was a great trip down Memory Lane. 77 VW Rabbit followed by a 81 Acadian and many more cheap practical cars. Put a 21 MX-5 in the garage last year regret waiting so long to get something that wasn't strictly the best tool for the job.
