Carriers

Hi anyone knows anything about company call
Roll X Carriers Inc?
I am a freight broker, and I regularly use Gavro, you guys are wonderful! Stay AWAY from Roll X! You guys are too good to deal with scammers like this lol.

Double brokered out some of our loads and we have the company who hauled it harassing our customer. I would hate to see that happen to you guys.

They are not harassing your customer they are legally and rightly trying to get paid for the work they done.

100% on this one and @sirtrautof should be right in the middle getting the actual carrier paid. If you have to chase etc the other guy that is on you as the broker after all you are the one that screwed up not the poor bastard that is just trying to get paid for actual work completed.. If i have never seen nor heard of a company they are DNU until further notice at this point in time. Our new entrants to the game seem to think turning the business into a third world scam is the way too go and just not worth the risk trying to deal with them.

Exactly! As the freight broker in this transaction, the onus is on you to straighten this mess out. You were the one who hired the company who decided entirely on their own to re-sell your customers freight. If you want to maintain your relationship with your customer, you should work on coming to some sort of agreement with the actual carrier.

Thank you everyone for turning my compliment to Gavro as an opportunity to attack me personally without really knowing a back story.

Where did I say that there wasn't an agreement made? We were NOT made aware that they were calling our customer EVERYDAY until the CUSTOMER TOLD US and we sent the company that hauled it an EFT that day. As a freight broker we are responsible to pay the party that hauled the load.

Rob, you don't think we vet out our carriers? We use my carrier packets and nothing was flagged, this is their website https://rollxcarriers.com/ AND we call 3 other 3PLs they have worked with for references, NOT trucking companies.

You guys really know how to make someone who has only been in Logistics for 3 years feel welcome. Thank you for making me never want to engage on this website again. I was always too worried to chime in and this is why.

The first thing to know about Inside Transport, is don’t take anything anyone says personally, unless of course it is coming from Rob! Seriously, please do not disengage as you will find most of the information here to be useful in your operation. We can all get a bit touchy sometimes and say things in a way that can be misinterpreted, so again, stick around, keep your ears and eyes open and contribute to this site. You won’t regret it.

Thanks for the whole story now. Good on you for making the carrier right and probably saving yourself the customer. As far as sugar coating to make sure I do not hurt feelings I am not that guy sorry. I call it the way i see and have since day one. That being said as Mike JR stated you left out half the story and we could only make our points on the points you provided. Just like trucking communication matters.. Have a wonderful day.

This is a pretty clear statement to me.

If you have made the guy whole then kudos to you.

You have done the right thing in this matter.

Every 2nd outfit you talk to today is out to scam somebody you just have to weed them out which can be a chore.

This is an amazing group of people on this forum so don't let first impressions put you off - I understand now that the backstory is clear... honestly everyone is trying to help.

however if I was the end carrier I woudl also be calling your customer EVERY day to get paid ...
