Carriers without General Liability (CGL)

What is the point of not having this insurance?!?

if you read up on what the purpose of this is, why would you ever go without it?

can anyone bring some insight as to why anyone would go without this protection??

In my opinion if you are a broker and deal with the US you should have $5 Million and if you operate equipment you should have at least $10 Million - Umbrella policies are not that bad. Insurance is only there if you need it and everyone hopes you never do but when you do it is a business savior.
