Carrier Qualifying

Hi

I am a third party company, and we are getting our carrier qualification process down to a fine art.. but I have a question...

I go on Safer to get carrier's U.S. safety ratings
I go on CVOR to get the Ontario based carriers ratings (for Domestic carriers)
But the carriers that are based out of BC, AB, SK, MB and the Maritimes... where do I find their safety ratings? - I would imagine each province has their own "CVOR" type program?

We have been all over the internet trying to find out how to qualify carriers that are not based out of Ontario (did find the QC program)

Just can't find any others.... how do you guys qualify trucks that are based in different provinces?

When I have done this, I have found that most provinces will only have a grade that is "satisfactory", "excellent" or "conditional." When you request the safety record from carriers in other provinces, like New Brunswick for example, you get like the equivalent of what we'd call a Level 2 CVOR here in Ontario - drilling right down to how many infractions and at what severity.

Like yourself, I have also found it frustrating when trying to validate safety ratings for carriers who are not from Ontario and Quebec. I'm sure the starting point is each province's transportation ministry and query on commercial trucking safety rating (words to that effect.) Hate to say it but it really is data mining at it's worst.
 
Have you been able to find the "satisfactory / conditional rating on carriers with in other provinces then? - your top paragraph leads me to believe you are getting some info??
